How to Decorate Your Dining Room For Fall

As I’ve pointed out so many times before (and will again and again), decorating for something specific like a season or a holiday doesn’t always mean that you have to buy literal decor. So when shopping for a season like Fall, just because pumpkins and leaves are the like, mascots of the season, doesn’t mean you have to buy plates adorned with leaves and ceramic pumpkins.

I love a good color palette and some texture to help me decorate for specific times of the year. In a few months, when it’s time to change our decor again, all you have to do is swap out a color and you have a fresh feeling shelf of accessories.

Take this gorgeous green vase. Mixed with wood and warm golds, it leans very heavily towards a cozy fall vibe. When spring arrives, I could sit it next to some pastel plates and fill it with ranunculus and you have a totally different look.

I went down the rabbit hole finding fall decor that I really really want but can’t possibly fit all of it in our home, so instead i’ll roll it out here for your own inspiration and home decor needs! I love this palette of creams, greens and darker shades of wood to bring a moody vibe to your dining room and tabletop.
