You Have to See This Flower Installation Before It's Gone
I'm lucky to have friends that are on top of... life. If it were up to me I would never find out about things like this. So when one of the girls mentioned a dried flower installation, we all jumped at the opportunity. I mean, besides the fact that I am plant and flower obsessed, there was actually something interesting going on in Orange County (and not LA)... which NEVER happens.
We went to the opening reception which was a big thing. LOTS of people, but that was okay because they also served wine, cocktails and snacks. We were also able to view the flowers fairly early in their life cycle. They were still super vibrant and smelled SO good! It's recommended that you visit several times to view at the different stages. But i'm pretty sold with how it looked when we went;) I wanted to share some pictures I took of the exhibit as well as on the grounds of Casa Romantica which is actually available for weddings and events in addition to housing 2.5 acres of coastal gardens which you can visit during the hours they are open to the public.
It was honestly so hard to capture how gorgeous the installations were, so if you're local, I highly recommend making a visit before it's over on August 13th! Even better, head down at sunset and enjoy the gardens after you are done in the exhibit. If you are a fellow plant lady, you won't regret it;)
