From Laptop to Desktop

As you have seen by now, I have this pretty little site now to show off all of my calligraphy, styling and blog work. In the beginning, I thought choosing and editing the photos that would be used here would be the easy part. WRONG. It's impossible to even wrap your brain around all the shoots and projects that have been done in just the last 2 years. How was I supposed to make it feel cohesive, let alone find things that created the atmosphere I wanted when you arrived?

Enter, Intel. At the perfect time. They wanted to see how I used it, as a creative business owner, to work on things that typically took place on my laptop.

Being able to see all my pictures together on one (large!) screen made my job a lot easier when deciding what images would make the cut. Editing some of those photos on a desktop rather than my tiny screen was night and day. And the biggest perk after the site was built, that you could split the screen. I was able to edit a page on the left and see it live on the right. Now with having a portfolio (finally), where adding and rearranging pictures will take place probably weekly, this is going to be a huge time saver.

I also made a pretty new corner in my office so that I can focus on being on the computer at one desk and doing calligraphy projects on my larger desk! What girl doesn't want a new space to decorate;)
