A Month in Review || June
June was a whirlwind month (as they all are) filled with photo shoots and lots of mini getaways. It was an exciting month since a lot of the work I was doing was leading up to the launch of this new site. It also required lots of organization (not one of my best traits) but it really pushed me to put new processes into place as well as put more thought and effort into projects for the blog… but let's chat more about that after the pretty recap!
You can read all of the recaps and past goals here, and i'm happy to say that those have been met and it's time to move onto something new!
- Calligraphy kits are on their way. They are about 90% through the design process and just need a few small illustrations and the copy added in to finish them off. This has been on the list for a long time and i'm so happy to finally see the end of the creation process for them. Not to mention, finally having something to direct ladies to that want to learn but can't attend a local workshop. If you want to stay up to date on the launch of the kits, you can sign up for the newsletter here.
- Second goal for the summer is finalizing a product line for wholesale (yay!). I'll be selling on etsy and hopefully find some really great retailers to work with. I'm not sure i've really processed that fact that soon people will be able to walk into a store and browse through my work. I'm also not sure why it's taken me so long to work on something like this! I'll be sure to share peeks of the process and when everything is available.
- And finally, I've forgotten how much fun shooting styled tabletops and events is. While I'm not going to force myself to do something on a schedule (like, once a month for example), I am going to take time out to create things (like this brunch!) just for fun. Plus it's always a blast to have the girls or some friends over afterwards to enjoy all of the work.
Anyone else setting mini goals for July… or just the summer? What are yours?
