office moments | a cozy corner
I showed you a little peek into one part of office number 2 here, but I can't say things are coming along very quickly for the rest. Part of me likes keeping it clean and white as it's been super helpful when I need an area that I can dress up for a shoot. But even more of me wants to decorate the crap out of it. So I've added small touches while I make the bigger decisions (rugs! art! inspiration walls!), like this little seating area in one of the corners. Ya, it will probably be different in a week, but that's one of my favorite things to do... rearrange and restyle, so I'm okay with that.
Something I've been a little more aware of when we go new places or travel is picking up items that we can display in our home that remind me of that trip. Some are free, like these branches I found in the desert, and some are super generic, like this mini trophy I'm using for matches (i say generic because i know the exact company they bought it from, i used to buy wholesale from the same place!). But they remind me of a time that was fun and that's what matters. Don't get me wrong, I love shopping at anthro, I do like the idea though of one day having a home filled with meaningful items that people ask questions about and not being able to refer them through a link.
A stack of images wrapped in gorgeous ribbon Kelsee from Ivy and Gold sent from a shoot we collaborated on. I'll display some of the prints, but the original wrapping job was just too pretty not to display!
Hoping to start using my (real) camera again and share more little areas around our home and office! I forgot how much I enjoy just shooting for fun;)
