[ a fabulously thrifty thursday - gorgeous arrangements on the cheap ]

apparently i'm a bit flower arrangement obsessed this week...

i just love fresh flowers in our home. but who has an extra chunk of change to splurge on fresh arrangements once a week? not me!

so i always pick up a few cheap bunches at my local grocery store. they have this great section where you can pick 3 bunches for $12. i think that any flower can look good if you know how to arrange it, so i like to stick to buying 3 of the same thing and making a large statement like the babys breath below. or adding some additions that are free from your yard {like with the carnations shown below}. we are lucky enough to have 2 kumquat trees in our yard so i can re-create that exact piece for only a few bucks!
