recent work // wedding and event calligraphy

wedding season is definitely here! i love receiving emails for special orders from brides. it's so great to get to work one on one with them through all the details and help them brainstorm for their big day.

here are a few projects i completed last week.

this bride was getting married in costa rica (lucky!!!) and initially wanted her escort cards on small stones. that would have been an amazing choice, but carrying all of them in her suitcase wasn't an option so she opted for stone colored cards instead. these were just a few of my faves from her guest list. i'm loving the white pop of the ink for spring weddings! it looks great on almost every color.

these menus were created for a special backyard bbq. look at that wine selection.. my kind of party ;)

she chose to go with the kraft paper which i think screams casual, but contrasted that with calligraphy.

i'm making it a goal of mine to take more time to capture more of these special projects to keep for reference and most importantly share with you guys! hope you enjoy.
