mini globe revamp and 5 party ideas

january always means the house gets a little facelift after the holiday decor has been put away. i've picked up a few pieces but mostly have been updating items we already had. and this little globe was one of them. it's been sitting all by itself on a shelf looking sad for a few years. and really, globes don't go with our decor at all. i've seen a few ideas on pinterest for updating so i decided to go with a quick coat of chalkboard paint on ours.

this quick diy took less than 10 minutes and will now be a versatile piece i can use when styling so many areas in our home! for now, i went with an inspirational quote:
