4 ways to create quick party goods
when it comes to valentines day, of course i love all of the candy and pink and hearts… but we've seen it before and i'm always up for finding a new twist on traditional holidays. when avery asked me to show how i'd use their product for my kind of valentines day, it was the perfect excuse to brainstorm some super simple ways for you to spruce up things like love notes and small gifts!
i received a few different things to try out and my favorite are definitely their stickers. they are great for so much more than the basic label! and there are so many templates on their website ready for you to type in your text and print out. or, create your own like i did.
i keep these kraft boxes around all the time and they are constantly coming in handy. they are the perfect size for favors and small gifts. to make simple favors if you are hosting a vday bash, use the 2" square stickers to print out creative quotes, sayings or just to/from labels and wrap over the flap of your favor box.
fill with goodies like a simple rose or cupcake!
use the same stickers to create labels to top mini acrylic boxes. i love this idea if you are having a small girls night in. fill the boxes up with your favorite candies and set out with some roses for a centerpiece or send them home as favors.
everyone loves a festive garland. i took one of my favorite quotes and created an ombre garland with the 2" circle stickers. each sticker was labeled with one word and colored with the next color in the ombre palette i had chosen. the printed labels went on the front while the plain sticker attached on the back kept them all in line on the string. add a little foliage and a simple bloom to finish off the edges.
no party this year? no problem. send out some simple valentines by using these notecards and closing them up with embellished circle labels. i gave mine a little splatter paint treatment in shades of peach, pink and a few in black. i really loved how these turned out and will definitely be using them on more notecards and envelopes!
try out the simple to use templates if you don't have an editing program on your own computer. my next project is going to be trying these out for some new branding projects! they're the perfect size for sealing up tissue paper in packages or little bags of paper goods. plus i need to get better at the whole packaging thing for my shop, it's not something i've ever really focused on… sadly!
so what is everyone else planning for the valentines day? going full out for a party or just sending notes to friends and loved ones? i hope you can use a few of these ideas for your own projects!
[ thanks to avery for sending plenty of their product to share my projects with you guys! ]
