Pyar&Co. table linens giveaway.
want to know a secret? we eat dinner, most nights, on the couch. it's comfy, it's where i want to be after working all day, and it also means almost never having to set a fancy table. i'm totally okay with that. but there are those occasions when i want to get a bit fancy, and sometimes i just feel like preparing a small surprise on the weekend.
I received a set of Pyar&Co. table linens to show how i would use them. Besides dinner parties (which usually take place outside this time of year), we never use the dining table. So I thought they would be perfect to fancy up the bar area in our kitchen. 98% of the time, this is where we, or friends end up sitting during parties, so there's really no reason it shouldn't look good. I loved the natural look of the Bijli collection mixed with a pop of glam in the print.
Playing off of the fun metallic starburst pattern, I added in quirky plates, lots of natural elements potted in black pots and then spotted the rest of the setting with touches of black accessories (chalkboard signs available here).
I'm also a sucker for anything in miniature form. And i'm also ALWAYS grabbing things that are mini at the store or while i'm shopping. It's a strange addiction. How fun would it be to start wrapping up those mini treats though?! While you are hosting a dinner party, or maybe just a surprise dinner for your man on a Friday night?
