happy birthday sharon!

if you would've told me 3 years ago (maybe 4 i can't remember) when i was meeting up with sharon, for the first time ever, at a coffee shop to give her a cake stand and talk about a little photo shoot, that she would now be one of my good friends, well, i would have said no way. i never thought i could meet so many great people and friends through blogging. but that totally, obviously, happened.

why am i telling you this? because it's sharon's birthday!

not only do we get along well because we like to eat, drink and craft a lot together (sometimes all at the same time), but it's nice to have a friend that understands what you do and get excited for you or give you advice. if you're a blogger or do something creative and work for yourself, it can be hard to find people that "get" what you do and it can become isolating when there's no one to vent to about things that annoy you on twitter (and other important topics like that).

i won't get too mushy on you because i'm not good at that... but i wanted to wish sharon a very happy birthday and tell you all to do the same because she deserves it!!
