Our Holiday Home Decor

There isn’t any other time of year i look forward to decorating for more than the holidays. It’s cozy, I get to break out some of my favorite candles, and twinkle lights everywhere is perfectly acceptable. I go a bit crazy with the garland, but otherwise we keep it pretty simple so it never seems over the top.

Now that we are through a good chunk of our renovations in the main living areas, i wanted to share how we got to decorate this year!

A lot of the pieces I used for my “holiday” decor I already owned. I decided to focus on a color scheme of black, white and gold and then accented with fresh greens, lights and candles, a Christmas tree or two, and cozy textures to make it feel festive.
