One Last Summer Backyard Dinner Party
I went through a few versions of a little centerpiece here on our outdoor dining table. They either died, melted, or got dirty too fast. I’ve always been drawn to creating a backyard with casual French countryside bistro vibes (you know the one… pebbles on the ground, wood accents, lavender lining the space, rosé always on the table), so I landed on the idea to have a mini herb garden on the tabletop. The purple of the lavender didn’t go with my palette (rolling my own eyes at myself haha) so I picked up some rosemary (SO easy to keep alive!) and spearmint. The last little plant wasn’t an herb but the way it trails out o the pot fills up the space so nicely.
Since then I’d been wanting to set a table inspired by the new, semi-permanent, centerpiece. You can watch it all come to life here and shop the pieces I used below!
