Caribbean Inspired Agate Place Cards | Calligraphy

Agate has become one of the biggest requests we get when couples are brainstorming for their place cards. Over the past year it seems like the popularity in these guys has exploded, and not just for me, but for lots of hand letterers out there. I love that not only are they a gorgeous addition to your table decor, they are also a super fun keepsake for your friends and family to take home.

Typically we don't source the agate slices, our brides and grooms come to us with collections they have found in their favorite color palette. One of our brides last year even painted all of the edges of hers gold which added such a nice touch!

These blue slices were sent to us by one of our couples getting married in the Bahamas. I don't think they could've chosen a more accurate shade to represent their destination wedding. Here's a few pics recapping the gold hand lettered pieces we created for their wedding this summer!
