How to Make the Perfect Cheese Board
It’s clear after sharing close to 100 (ok, maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration) cheese boards over the years on instagram that people love them. They like looking at them, eating them, and having them at their gatherings. They are a beautiful, edible centerpiece that will keep people talking throughout the night about how gooood it is. So, obviously the next step was… drumroll… to show you how I make mine. It’s probably way less complicated than you think. And it’s always about filling your space, almost in a messy way, but an intentionally messy way;)
If it’s just me and my husband, or a few girlfriends, we definitely don’t go this big. But I always stick to the same principles when building one, and I almost always use the same 4 elements; cheese (duh), meats, nuts, and a garnish (herbs, edible flowers, or maybe some dried fruit).
I don’t think that there can be a bad cheese board. In just a few simple steps, people can easily transform their board though, from basic to attention grabbing, by using what they already have.
