With the holiday’s upon us and a lot of entertaining ahead, I felt inspired to come up with some place setting options that are either a very untraditional approach for the holiday season or a great option for any other time of the year. I always love coming up with a set-up that reflects my personal style, my menu for the evening, or the event theme itself, so it was super fun to come up with four different looks that could very easily be adapted for any setting.
The fun, flirty eclectic setting is great for a girl’s night or brunch, while the dark, romantic edgy setting is great unconventional approach to Christmas dinner or a more formal party with friends.
01 / eclectic
This one is for the maximalist. If you love color, impact, mixing styles and patterns, and a good dose of sparkle.

02 / neutral
As much as we love color, we can’t resist the calming vibes of a white and cream palette. If you want to calm a crazy holiday dinner, you can start with your table setting and hope for the best with your friends and family.

03 / earthy
Another calming look, but with a little more color. We used pops of earth tones like olive green and wood texture. This can easily be used for the holidays but is also great to leave on the table year round.

Not one for traditional color palettes? Go with this moody black set up. Add dripping black candlesticks for extra drama.
